Well, Thank You, Raw Knee, for inviting me on to your BLOG. I graciously accept, and will immediately contribute, by sharing that I have just been contacted by Jim Knippel, who is the youngest son of Beatrice Knippel, who was the youngest sister of Grandma Esther Fleischman. (She also had two younger brothers, Hiram and Fred).

Well sir if you've been contacted by Jim Knippel, can you ask him some questions. Like lineage and general information on Gramma's life and times.

Yes, he is a lot closer than you may think. His Mother, Beatrice is Grandma Esther's sister. In other words, Mom and Jim are first cousins. He was born in 1947, so he is younger than me, but he is Mom's generation. He was the baby of that family and Beatrice was the 3rd youngest of their family. (Only Hiram and Fred were younger.)
